About Ayswarya
I am a dedicated Indian classical dance teacher specializing in Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam, with a Bachelor’s degree in Mohiniyattam, a Bachelor’s degree in Bharatanatyam, and a Master’s degree in Bharatanatyam. With 8 years of teaching experience, I am passionate about preserving and sharing the rich cultural heritage of these art forms. I believe dance is more than movement—it develops discipline, confidence, creativity, and self-expression. My aim is to provide authentic, structured training that combines practical technique with theory, rhythm, tradition, and cultural understanding, helping students of all ages grow as confident and knowledgeable dancers.

My teaching methodology combines practical training with a strong foundation in the theory of Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam. Students learn adavus, posture, rhythm (taalam), mudras, abhinaya (expressions), choreography, and performance techniques through a structured curriculum. Theory lessons include the history of Indian classical dance, basic Natyashastra concepts, talas, terminology, costume, and stage etiquette. Each class is tailored to the student's level, ensuring steady progress, confidence, discipline, and a deeper understanding and appreciation of Indian classical dance.
