My lessons are an hour long, and I always ensure that students understand the basics before I progress onto advanced levels. I always look at their past work, and their past grades, to establish where to go from there, and what to achieve in classes. I also give students ample homework if required, and am happy to check their work before lessons, outside of lesson time. My past students have improved vastly after undertaking lessons, and have more positive attitudes towards learning English as a result.
