Book guitar lessons with expert teachers

The first lessons for a beginner cover the physical setup and fundamental skills.

• Parts of the instrument: Learn the names of the main components like the neck and fretboard.
• String identification: Memorise the six open string notes to understand chord diagrams.
• Finger placement: Press strings firmly close to the fret wire using your fingertips.
• Basic strumming: Practice simple down-strums before adding alternating patterns.

These four fundamentals prepare beginners for learning chords within the first few weeks.
