About Charlie
I am an aspiring actor and have had a passion for English and reading throughout my entire life. I achieved a 1st in English Literature at University and then went on to do a Law conversion. Discursive writing is such an important facet to have under your belt, and I want to help anyone master that art!

When it comes to analysing set texts, my method is simple; to make sure students have a well rounded knowledge of plot devices, authorial intention, themes and motifs. This then aids in picking out important extracts from the text and closely reading them with a special emphasis on contextual elements. I also believe that language, sentence structure, and essay planning are essential to succeeding in English and will happily focus on these areas also, providing lots of material that I once used which really improved my writing skills
