About Alex
I have provided extensive guidance to GCSE and A Level students in a number of areas including (although not limited to) poetry and prose analysis, creative writing, exam preparation, coursework development and academic writing style. I achieved an A* in both English Literature A Level and English literature GCSE. I am currently preparing to begin my final year studying Politics at King's College London University. As such, I have spent the last two years further refining my essay-writing skills and consistently engaging with an abundance of complex academic literature. I am passionate about literature and have spent several years mastering the art of thorough conceptual and technical analysis.

My teaching methods vary in accordance with the requirements and experience of my students. I strive to provide highly personalised lessons, which cater for the specific needs of each student. I prepare thoroughly for lessons, but I am capable of adapting the structure and focus of each lesson organically in order to facilitate as much growth as possible for my students, allowing them to reach their full potential. Though I am driven, confident and professional, my style of tutoring is relaxed, friendly and relatively informal. I provide lessons to GCSE and A Level students in English Language and English literature.
