About Namrata
As a soon-to-be doctor and a dedicated Bharatanatyam dancer with over 15 years of experience, I've proudly represented the Akila Bhartiya Sankrutik Sangh by the Global Council of Art and Culture. My journey in this classical dance form led me to international competitions where I was honored with a bronze medal. Teaching Philosophy: My goal is to open classical dance classes globally, spreading the beauty of Bharatanatyam and other classical dances. I aim to build a community where learners not only master the dance but also appreciate its cultural significance. Ambition: To establish a network of classical dance academies worldwide, promoting and perpetuating the rich traditions of Bharatanatyam. I value social interaction and am excited to engage with new students. I look forward to hearing from you soon and embarking on this enriching journey together!

Class Structure:
Duration: Each class is meticulously structured to last one hour. This time frame is optimized to ensure that each session is intensive yet manageable, allowing students to absorb and practice the content effectively.
Frequency: Students can choose to engage in up to 4 hours of instruction per week. This flexible schedule accommodates various learning paces and commitments, making it possible for students to consistently progress in their mastery of Bharatnatyam while balancing other life responsibilities.
Pricing: The cost for each one-hour class is set at 4000 INR. For those looking to commit to regular practice and learning, I offer a bundle package priced at 12000 INR per week, which includes four classes. This bundle not only provides a structured learning path but also offers a financial incentive compared to the single-class rate.
Levels: My classes are designed to cater to a wide range of skill levels. Beginners will start with the foundational adavus, which are the basic steps of Bharatnatyam, ensuring a solid base for further advancement. Intermediate students will refine these skills and begin exploring more complex combinations and expressions. Advanced students will delve into the nuances of intricate tilanas and fully choreographed dances, focusing on performance quality and stylistic perfection. This tiered approach ensures that every student finds the guidance and challenge they need at each stage of their dance education.
These classes are a blend of traditional techniques and modern teaching methods, aimed at nurturing not only skilled dancers but also individuals who appreciate and understand the deep cultural heritage of Bharatnatyam.
