About Graham
I have a BA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College where I graduated magna cum laude from the Honors College. I am also a current student (graduating in the spring) in the MFA Creative Writing program at Queens College. I have an extensive background in creative/academic writing, reading comprehension, and writing/editing for newspapers and magazines. I work very well with kids— I’m a past summer camp counselor and an eldest brother— and am always excited at the prospect of passing along and gaining knowledge from a mentoring experience.

One-on-one, I like to guide my student through the concept/exercise, allowing for questions, exploration, and feedback on their own specific learning process.
In a group setting, I like to view myself as a facilitator of discussion rather than a defacto leader— if I can provide the necessary framework for the kids’ minds to work on their own and lead their own discussions / write what actually compels them, then I feel I have done a good job.
