First lesson
In your first lesson, we will discuss what your musical ambitions are, where do you see yourself in the future? Do you want to be a professional or do you want to play for fun? You will then play some music and find your first piece(s) at the correct level for you and will make plans with Mary for future lessons. Mary is able to accommodate everyone from beginners to more advanced performers.
Please bring along your instrument to the first lesson, if you don’t have one just yet then just bring yourself and you can use one of Mary’s spare instruments. It would be useful if you brought any music that you can currently perform or would like to perform in the future to give Mary an idea of what you are capable of now and where you want to go.
Beginners
All beginners are welcome! Whether you have an instrument yet or not, Mary is very friendly and will make you feel cherished as a pupil from day one. You can contact Mary during the week with questions and Mary will set you weekly practice targets so you know what to do at home.
