About Kennedy
Hi, I’m Kennedy!
I’m a native English speaker with a degree in International Studies with a minor in Spanish.
I’ve spent a majority of my career working in the hospitality industry and worked with hundreds of non-native English speakers at all levels. I’ve learned the importance of cross-cultural communication and how to communicate effectively with others regardless of their first language! Even my husband speaks English as a second language.

My teaching methods for ESL are primarily direct method (lessons totally in English) and the Communicative language. I believe these give my students a more immersive experience and equips them with the tools to communicate in real-life contexts.
We‘ll focus primarily on speaking at first. As you learn more, we’ll work on reading and grammar.
