About Penelope
Penelope has begun her overseas study since the age of 13, after being offered a place to study O level in Singapore through the AEIS examination (Admissions Exercise for International Students). At the age of 16, Penelope achieved an overall band of 8.0 on her first attempt at IELTS. Graduated from an UK independent school with the grades of A*A*A*A, respectively in A level English Literature, Religious Studies, Maths and Chinese, Penelope successfully entered University College London to study BA English; her Philosophy essay was also shortlisted in the 2020 John Locke Essay Competition. Upon finishing her undergraduate study, Penelope continued to pursue a postgraduate degree in Applied Linguistics at University of Oxford, in order to glean more insights into educational pedagogies and learners' acquisition of first and second language.
