About Jasleen Kaur
Hi! I am a University of Oxford aspirant keen to share all the knowledge I can offer! Selected at the University of Oxford for the course of MPhil in Late Antique and Byzantine Studies in 2020, I couldn’t enroll myself for the course due to financial restraints and COVID-18 restrictions. However, this hasn’t stopped me or discouraged me in any way! While I continue to prepare my applications for Oxford as well as various Ivy League universities, I believe it would be an enriching experience for myself as well as my students to learn from one another. I have heard people say that History is boring! And if you have heard the same or think that History is actually boring, well, let’s connect to change this notion. :) My method of teaching History will include: 1. Building the narrative in the most interesting manner. 2. Learning and discussing the course of events in a unique, memorable way. 3. Discussing the basics of history writing (historiography) and various historical methods to apprise the students of why and how history has been constructed. 4. Fulfillment of the requirements and conditions as per the syllabus. History is the most fun subject ever! To see how right I am, let’s connect!
