About Mthiyane

I am someone who is deeply passionate about technology and helping others build their digital confidence. Having successfully completed my training in End User Computing, I have a strong foundation in essential computer operations, file management, and the Microsoft Office suite.
As a naturally patient and supportive person, I know how intimidating computers can be for beginners. I decided to start tutoring because I want to bridge that gap and share my knowledge with others. My goal is to make digital literacy accessible, practical, and stress-free for anyone looking to improve their daily or professional computer skills.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is strictly hands-on. I believe the best way to learn a computer is to use it, not just watch someone else do it. Having completed End User Computing, I understand the technical standards required for modern world, but I specialize in breaking down complex terms into simple, everyday language. I am unique because I focus on 'digital confidence' and helping you get over fear of clicking the wrong button.

I am proficient and able to teach in English and isiZulu, ensuring that instructions are clear and comfortable for students.

What to expect
Lessons are hands-on and goal-oriented. We start with the essentials, like navigating the desktop and managing files. From there, we move straight into practical tasks: creating a professional CV in Microsoft Word or mastering email etiquette and attachments. You will learn by doing, ensuring you gain the confidence to use these tools independently in your daily life or career.

My lessons are perfect for:

Beginners who have never used a computer before.

Job seekers needing to learn Microsoft Word or Excel for work.

Seniors who want to stay connected through the internet and
social media.

Students looking to improve their formatting and typing skills for assignments.
