About Cristiana

I am currently a PhD student in Classics and a lecturer in Advanced Classics. I earned both my degree and diploma in Classics, after getting my school diploma. I have been familiar with ancient Greek, Latin, and ancient history since I was 14, which helped me develop the most genuine passion for such subjects. I have been successfully tutoring for five years, both high school and university students. Although this is not my primary occupation, I am fully committed to it, since I believe that knowledge is nothing without sharing.

About the lesson

The most important thing to me is to get to know my students, which helps me develop a teaching methodology that fits their needs. I am flexible and strict at the same time: on the one hand I am well disposed to meet my students' needs, on the other I expect them to give them at least a half of what I give to them. I usually avail of a mix of theory and practice, supported by clear PowerPoint presentations to provide my students with those visual and concrete aspects of my disciplines which sometimes are missing.
