About Keven
Age 8 was when I first touched the keys, setting a path that led to my debut recital at the age of 14. Eleven years of instructing individuals from beginners to diploma candidates has shaped my perspective on the instrument. My training follows the Russian lineage, emphasizing arm weight and deliberate, sensitive touch over mere velocity.
I integrate jazz improvisation, chord voicing, and advanced sight reading into my instruction. How do you envision your own musical voice developing as you explore these foundational techniques?

Keys feel like living extensions of your fingertips under my quiet guidance. Focus remains on the physical connection to the piano rather than rushing through complex passages.
We explore scales and arpeggios as essential building blocks for tone. My Juilliard background influences how I approach memorisation and expressive phrasing.
11 years of work inform the way I correct posture and hand alignment. I offer unhurried feedback on accompaniment skills and dynamic variety.
