About Matthew
I have been tutoring and assisting youth and young adults in academia as well as activation for over 10 years. It started with growing up in a challenging neighborhood in a home where things weren’t perfect but I had a mother that taught me that no matter how bad the day is, you’re still able to reach others and give them the love that you wanted in a challenging situation. My mother had a saying “I once cried because I had no shoes, until I met the man that had no feet” this means that you are always a leader to someone. Be strong, be steady, keep your heart open. Things will get better. Let me show you how to be the best you that you want to be.

An educator knows how to relate and communicate complex information in a way that is possible for the growth of others. An educator gives information to AWAKEN the potential of your students. A disciplinarian, on the other hand, is someone that believes you can BEAT someone into shape like they’re a sword. I can understand how dealing with disciplinarians can make you feel so nervous and paranoid about mentors and authority figures. You deserve someone that understands you and then shows you all the ways you can be you and still be great! Let me open your mind to the great ways you as an individual can learn in a way that is fun, interactive, and will remind you that you are your own masterpiece. You only need to allow yourself the patience to see the entire picture.

I highly reccomend Matthew as a reading teacher. He has a calm disposition that exudes patience when teaching children how to read. His excitement and encouragement for a child learning how to read is contagious and helps instill confidence in the child. Matthew makes learning how to read a fun activity. He creates his own stories that helps the children learn to explore their imaginations and extend on their vocabulary.
