About Dasha

I started my movement training as a professional rhythmic gymnast in Moscow, Russia, and transitioned into modern dance training during my university years after moving to the USA. I hold a BA in Dance with a Performance and Choreography specialization from UMD, and currently am a freelance dance artist.

About the lesson

My teaching method is student-centered with typical lesson plans tailored to the goals of a specific student I am working with. My lessons are for students of levels seeking to gain more experience with improvisational practices and/ or improving strength, flexibility, and technique.

I have known Dasha for many years, and she has always been someone I can count on for honest advice, encouragement, and support. She is a patient, understanding, and motivating life coach who genuinely listens and cares about helping people grow. We have shared many conversations where Dasha has helped me see things from a different perspective and feel more confident about my goals. I highly recommend her because she is easy to talk to, trustworthy, and truly wants to help others become the best version of themselves.
