About Hadassah
Hello! I'm Hadassah, also known as Teacher Haddie, and I'm passionate about helping students discover that learning English can be both enjoyable and rewarding.
I hold an accredited 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate and I am currently in my second year of a Bachelor of Arts in English with Creative Writing and Theory of Literature at the University of South Africa (UNISA). My studies have given me a strong foundation in English language, literature, grammar, academic writing, and critical thinking.
I enjoy working with students to build their confidence in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literary analysis. I believe that every learner has the potential to succeed when they receive patient guidance, encouragement, and lessons that are tailored to their individual needs.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, creative writing, and designing educational resources that make learning engaging and accessible. I am committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing new skills, and reaching their academic goals.

About My Lessons
Learning English should be an enjoyable and confidence-building experience. My teaching approach is patient, interactive, and tailored to each student's individual learning style and goals. I believe that every learner can succeed when lessons are clear, engaging, and adapted to their pace.
I hold an accredited 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate and I am currently completing a Bachelor of Arts in English with Creative Writing and Theory of Literature at the University of South Africa (UNISA). My academic background allows me to support students in grammar, reading comprehension, vocabulary, essay writing, literary analysis, creative writing, and exam preparation.
A typical lesson begins by identifying the student's strengths and areas for improvement. I then guide students through explanations, practical examples, interactive activities, and exercises to reinforce what they have learnt. Students receive constructive feedback and are encouraged to ask questions throughout the lesson, creating a supportive and positive learning environment.
I teach in English and welcome students who wish to improve their English language skills.
My lessons are suitable for Grade 8–12 students, secondary school learners, and anyone looking to strengthen their reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, or academic English. Whether you need help with homework, preparing for tests and exams, improving essay writing, or developing confidence in English, I am here to help you achieve your goals.
