About Ella
I am currently doing a degree in Psychology at University and have previously studied at GCSE level and A-Level, both times doing English where I achieved an A* in Literature and an A grade in Language in my GCSE’s and another A grade at A-Level for English Literature. I have tutored my younger brother who has severe learning difficulties and ADHD through his GCSE’s as well as friends siblings and have enjoyed every second learning and getting to know each child.

My teaching methodology is to start with weaker points in the child’s education, my reasoning being once they have cracked this, confidence grows and their skills in other areas develop. I will be going through and writing mini essays with your child and teaching important literary devices along the way as I think it is important to learn whilst practicing. I will also cover context and the assessment objectives needed to pass and exceed expectations at GCSE level.
