About Megan

As a qualified secondary English teacher, and Celta certified Language teacher , I have spent a very enjoyable ten years in the classroom! Since Covid 19 I have also been tutoring online, and am happy to say I have an excellent track record of helping students surpass their predicted grades. My approach is that learning should be enjoyable and challenging- I pride myself on my bespoke lessons and being able to respond to each student as an individual, varying my methods to accommodate each student’s unique learning style and close any gaps in learning.

My students and colleagues would describe me as fair, committed, fun and a strong teaching practitioner with clear expectations and a lively, approachable manner. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions you may have .

About the lesson

My lessons are usually between an hour to ninety minutes, and in that time we focus in on specific areas which are concerning you as a student , as well as building your confidence and ability with your English work in general.

I'm told I'm easy to talk to and that the lessons fly by , which I hope means they are enjoyable! I think this is key to achieving the best possible outcomes for my students.
