About Ross
Hello! I am a qualified secondary teacher with a BA (Hons) in History, a PGCE, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I have experience teaching History, Geography, Religious Education, and Humanities across Key Stages 3–5 in a range of secondary schools.
I chose teaching because I enjoy helping students build confidence, develop new skills, and achieve goals they may not have thought possible. I am passionate about making learning accessible and engaging, particularly for students who may find a subject challenging or lack confidence in their abilities.
I believe every student can succeed with the right support, encouragement, and guidance. My aim is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their understanding, and reaching their full potential.

As a qualified teacher with experience teaching History, Geography, Religious Education, and Humanities, I break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps and adapt my teaching to suit different abilities, including students with SEND. Lessons combine subject knowledge, exam skills, and regular feedback to help students develop confidence and achieve their potential.
