About Jewel
I am a senior in high school, and I have always been fascinated by English literature. English has always been a skill of mine, and I enjoy teaching others the beauty of literature. I am planning to go into SFU for communication studies for post-secondary, after getting my bachelor's my plan is to delve deeper into education by gaining a master's in media analysis and management.

My teaching style would include going over material the students are struggling with over and over until the literature is not only understood but thoroughly analyzed. I have done tutoring for family friends previously and I am very patient with young children. I work well with children in general and try to relate with a younger demographic in order to make learning fun. I will go over material as much as needed for it to make sense for the student, and to have them prepared enough to have meaningful discussion. I’m looking to tutor children aged 5-13.
