About Thanduxolo
Hello, I’m Thanduxolo, an experienced facilitator and youth development practitioner with over 9 years of experience working with young people, communities and diverse groups.
My passion is helping people find their voice, build confidence and communicate with purpose. Throughout my experience, I have facilitated interactive workshops, supported learners, mentored young people and delivered activities focused on personal development, communication, work readiness and life skills.
My teaching style is practical, encouraging and learner-centred. I believe public speaking is a skill anyone can develop with the right guidance, practice and supportive environment. I meet learners at their current level and help them progress at a pace that builds genuine confidence.
Whether you are preparing for a presentation, interview, speech, academic activity or simply want to become a more confident communicator, I am here to help you develop the skills and confidence to speak with impact.

My lessons are practical, interactive and learner-centred, designed to help students develop confidence, communicate clearly and speak with purpose. As an experienced facilitator with over 9 years of experience working with young people, communities and diverse groups, I use a supportive approach that allows learners to practise rather than simply listen.
My methodology combines discussion, practical speaking exercises, storytelling, role-play, presentations and constructive feedback. I focus on creating a comfortable environment where learners can overcome fear of speaking, express their ideas clearly and gradually develop their own authentic speaking style. What makes my approach unique is that I connect public speaking to real-life situations, including presentations, interviews, group discussions, workplace communication and everyday interactions.
I am proficient in English, isiXhosa and Afrikaans and can support learners using these languages where appropriate, while primarily conducting lessons in English.
A typical lesson begins by identifying the learner's goals and current confidence level. We then work through a specific skill, such as speech structure, voice projection, body language, storytelling, presentation delivery or answering questions. The learner will have opportunities to practise during the session, followed by personalised feedback and practical exercises to continue developing between lessons.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, students, young professionals, job seekers and anyone who wants to improve their confidence and ability to communicate effectively. No previous public-speaking experience is required. Whether you are preparing for a presentation, interview, speech, academic activity or simply want to become a more confident communicator, lessons are adapted to your individual needs and learning pace.
