About Jenny
I’ll be graduating from The University of Nottingham later in July this year. Whilst at uni I studied English and American Studies, so I now know a fair amount about British and American literature and a bit about rhetoric and discourse. I was also an editor for the uni magazine, spent some time volunteering as a teaching assistant at a secondary school and have lots of experience tutoring in English as a foreign language at an international summer school.

I’m open and honest, but also friendly and encouraging! Just let me know how I can help and we can work out how best I can give you a hand. I’ve given basic English tutoring to secondary school age kids before and I’ve helped friends with their uni essays and dissertations.
If you’d like to discuss novels, poems or films in a book club style, let me know in advance and I’d be happy to do that. If you’d like assistance with essay writing skills or proofreading, I can help with that also.
I’ve also studied in America for a year so open to chatting about what the education system is like out there and give hints and tips.
