About Charlotte
I am a first-year Ph.D. student and I already have some previous experiences with teaching; I also used to be a Girl Scout, which brought me to work a lot with children and teens. I'm really deeply fond of my discipline, and I tend to be generally very curious about everything. I graduated my undergraduate level in Geography/History, Cinema, and French Literature. I also went to Journalism School in France and passed the national exam, I would be glad to help people training for such an exam! I can help give study methods, methodology of writing, and in-depth knowledge. I tend to be extremely careful to the needs of the students and especially to their approach to learning, as I myself did a lot of research about learning to learn since my high school years.

I usually start the meeting by asking what are the expectations from the student for my classes and their goals in the subject, as well as their difficulties. At the beginning of every lesson, we review the last test if any, the homework, and try to target the strengths and weaknesses in the lesson. Then, either we work towards an exam, or we review some methodology keys, dates, or general lessons through studies and methodology techniques that suit the student best. I always bring with me a mock subject to work with, adapt myself to the student's book, and try to bring them the curiosity for the discipline!
