About Sophia
I am currently an undergraduate at the Univeristy of East Anglia studying History. I studied English Literature, Sociology and History at A Level.

I understand the difficulties of learning in a school environment, and that school can’t always offer a support service for every student’s needs. As someone who has struggled with dyslexia and anxiety in the past I know the barriers of asking for help and therefore am very patient when helping other students.
I love English, my mother is an English teacher so this subject has always been a part of my life! I achieved two grade eights at GCSE self teaching English Literature and Language. I also half self taught my English Literature A level which I achieved an A* in in 2023. I am adaptable and very easy going to find whatever methods work best and will aim to form a healthy relationship with my student to ensure they are happy and we work in the way that best for them.
