About Charlotte
I am in my first year of my English degree, but in the future I hope to continue on to do a master's and doctorate on the subject and eventually teach English as a professor or secondary schools. I love the subject entirely, not just reading books but in the analysis of such texts. One of my favourite books is The Great Gatsby, being such an incredible novel I truly wish to share the depth of great Literature with the world.

In sessions that will last an hour, I will create a learning environment of productivity and discipline. My philosophy when it comes to obtaining higher grades in English language and literature is to first achieve a greater understanding of how important and wonderful the subject is, and then this put into practice with essay questions and lively discussion. Being in my first year of university, A-levels are still fresh in my mind and I am acutely aware of the difficulties of the subject, but similarly of the joy it can bring. I have past experience working in the classroom setting, from year 3 to year 9, it also helps that I have three younger siblings! My skills are best catered to GCSE and A-level students in years 10 to 13 to really achieve those grade 9s and A*s.
