I have 25 years teaching special education, 3 teaching in elementary and 23 years teaching secondary. I have assisted student via direct instruction to raise there standardized test scores in reading by at least one level. I approach teaching by being completely student centered. I start by establishing individual learning style and student interest. Next, I give brief assessment s to get an idea where to start, then set goals on where we want to be. I base my vigorous teaching on skill, strengths, learning style and interest.
