About Fiona
I have recently completed an MPhil in World History at the University of Cambridge. I have also studied at the University of York, receiving a First Class Degree in History of Art. I am happy to tutor essay based subjects and offering techniques for improving writing. Teaching at GCSE/A level/ University standard. Currently have experience of over 200 hours of teaching

My teaching method is tackling what the student would like to achieve from the lessons, discussing their aims and objectives in the beginning. The first lesson will be discussing the objectives and getting to know the student and the style of writing. I am happy to offer going over essays in lessons and also offer more thorough marking. For students looking to improve their English as a second language, I offer conversational lessons on current issues or topics. I have previous experience in teaching English as a second language and can work on pronunciation, as I have a Native British accent. I have completed a 120 hour TEFL course.
