I like to teach using slide shows with lots of pictures that will catch students' attention. I have found that students are more willing to learn when they're being entertained rather than simply being talked at. However, I think it's important to establish a balance between entertainment and a desire to learn. I hope to reach this balance! My lessons are mainly for middle school or high school students that are struggling with memorization on nuance in certain historical topics.
