About Suhani
I am university student who has finished her first year of studies in the science program. I will be minoring in English literature as I share a strong passion for this subject. I have graduated from high school with an International Baccalaureate HL certificate in English literature. My enthusiasm and fascination persuade me to share my knowledge in this field and build an interest for literature in others.

My teaching methods follow closely to the IB literature structure and my lessons are loosely based on it's curriculum. As well, I have ample knowledge on the structure and requirements of the Alberta curriculum and may also work on preparing my students for the Diploma exams. My teaching methods are flexible and will adapt based on the students and their type of learning. I believe that discussions and the sharing of perspectives are key to understanding and attaining critical skills from any literature based course. As well I like to focus my students on active reading, critical thinking and analyzing. These skills are essential to building a strong foundation in both creative and critical writing.
