About Steven

My journey over the past 12 years has been driven by a deep love for human stories, clinical psychotherapy, and specialised cross-cultural work.

Alongside running a gentle and successful private practice via premium platforms based out of London's (United Kingdom) Harley Street, I act as a macro-level adviser—helping UK family courts (via a consultancy agent) to untangle delicate Chinese diaspora dynamics and spending the last two years guiding an NHS bereavement charity to build authentic, inclusive rapport with Chinese communities.

I care deeply about mentoring the next generation of practitioners.
I know how heavy and isolating this field can feel when you are starting out or growing your wings.

My goal is to offer you a genuinely kind, benevolent, free speech space where you can shed the pressure of needing to be perfect.

Together, we will translate real-world experiences into practical clinical wisdom, grounded confidence, and sustainable career longevity.

I'm also a contributor (case study) for the paperback book: "Creating Culturally Competent Services for Children and Families" (by Jessica Kingsley publishing house).

Hello! Let’s create a warm, deeply supportive, and non-judgemental space to process your caseload together.

Whether you are a trainee navigating the intensity of placements, a recent graduate building your practice, or a skilled therapist facing a complex block, you are so welcome here.

Inside our 60-minute online sessions, together, we'll look beyond rigid textbook theory.
Instead, we’ll collaboratively untangle the overarching narrative of your client cases with clean, vivid, and fresh insights.

Drawing from my 12 ongoing years of clinical practice in the private sector, alongside my background as a Public sector trainer (NHS - Supportive Charities - a Russell Group University - Family court, Court of Protection - Chinese diaspora cultural consulting - CPD training publication contributor), I’ll help you harmoniously, navigate subtle cross-cultural diaspora dynamics and tricky systemic boundaries alike.

This peer mentoring space is designed to soothe impostor syndrome, spark clinical breakthroughs, and wholesomely elevate your practice, all while keeping you firmly in the driver’s seat of your professional journey.

(Note: These sessions are structured as peer consultation for holistic development and do not replace your board-mandated clinical supervision).
