About Enrique
Precision is the cornerstone of my teaching, but I also believe that strong listening skills are essential to becoming a confident musician. Early listening habits can shape how naturally students recognize pitch, tone, rhythm, and musical expression.
My training at the Eastman School of Music refined my ear and helps me guide students toward accurate intonation and stronger orchestral playing. Lessons focus on developing double stops, rhythm, bow control, and the physical mechanics needed for consistent technique.
After 13 years of teaching, one of the most rewarding moments is watching a student find balance in their tone while mastering a challenging bowing technique. My goal is to help each student build both technical precision and musical confidence.

Student clarity emerges when we remove the clutter surrounding complex musical passages. I write custom scale and etude sheets for each student to ensure they address their specific challenges directly.
My 13 years at the Eastman School of Music taught me that ear training must precede the hand in every practice session. We analyze the sound before we touch the instrument. It keeps the work grounded. I enjoy seeing that spark of recognition when a student hears the nuance they previously struggled to produce.
