I aim to deliver a personal and professional lesson to my student, catering to their skill level, whether they have never touched an instrument or have been playing for a good long while. The lessons will always be a good time, firstly. With a focus on connecting with the instrument, always remembering what it is all about. Technique and feel are of utmost importance as well as understanding of the theoretical framework we use as musicians. We can also work on your general musicianship, meaning your ability to play and listen to others, ensuring you aren't too far in front or behind anyone else sonically. Drumming is all about leading from the back and performing the most crucial role in the band, much like goalkeeping.
