About Catherine

I am a professional dance instructor, choreographer, and lifelong advocate for the art of movement, with over 22 years of teaching experience in Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, and Scottish Highland Dance.

My passion for dance began at a young age and has grown into a rewarding career dedicated to helping students discover confidence, discipline, creativity, and joy through movement.

Throughout my career, I have earned professional teaching credentials through respected dance organizations, including the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD) and Dance Vision. My experience includes teaching recreational dancers, competitive students, children, adults, and individuals preparing for special occasions.

As an instructor, I believe every student deserves a positive, encouraging learning environment where they feel comfortable exploring their abilities and developing at their own pace. My approach emphasizes strong technique, musicality, personal growth, and meaningful human connection.

I am also an author and passionate educator who believes the lessons we learn through dance extend far beyond the dance floor.

Whether you’re taking your very first steps or refining years of experience, I look forward to helping you discover what dance can bring to your life.

About the lesson
