About Ethan

I am a recent graduate of the King's College London War Studies department, with a Master's degree in 'Intelligence and International Security'. In the previous academic year, I completed my Bachelors degree in 'History and Politics' at the University of Exeter with first-class honours. As such, I have extensive recent experience studying history, politics and international relations, as well essay writing about these subjects.
On top of my academic experience, I have also worked as a research assistant for two politics and international relations lecturers at the University of Exeter, and achieved both the Exeter Award and Exeter Leader's Award due to my position as President of the Flamank Law Society for three years.

About the lesson

Lessons will be catered to the individual goals and needs of each student.
Before paid lessons begin, a preliminary session will be held to discuss the different subject areas the student requires tutoring in, as well as their strengths and weaknesses within the subject area. This will ensure that lessons can be designed to build competence and confidence in the areas the student requires most.

Long and short essay writing guidance can also be provided, as well as assessments of previous samples of work.
Lesson length is flexible but typically lasts between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.

Taught subjects:
History (GCSE, A Level). Specialising in: Early Modern England (1509-1604); French history (1774-1814); Russian history (1855-); World War Two and the rise of Fascism; Cold War; and the US Civil Rights Movement.

Government and Politics (GCSE, A Level). Specialising in: British government and politics; Russian government and politics; Middle Eastern politics and conflict; political theory; and international relations.

English Literature (GCSE).

Graduate with a Master's degree in 'International Security' from King's College London. Teaches History, Politics and International Relations GCSE and A-level.
