About Pietro
Hi! My name is Pietro, I'm 23 years old, and I'm passionate about literature and teaching. I graduated in Modern Literature from the Catholic University of Milan (110 cum laude) with a thesis in Latin on Virgil's Georgics. I'm currently pursuing a Master's program in Screenwriting and Film Production to learn how to write films. I'm a huge skiing enthusiast, so much so that I teach children skiing during my winter vacations. I teach humanities using a personalized method focused on critical analysis. My teaching covers all levels:
- For middle school students, I provide solid support in Italian, History, and Geography.
- For high school students, I specialize in Latin, Greek, Literature, History, Philosophy, and Art History, aiming to transform difficulties into linguistic fluency.
- I also offer specialized university-level lessons in Advanced Latin Language and Literature.
Classes are held both in person (in Milan) and online, with flexible schedules and methods.
My method combines dedication and passion: I believe in a balanced approach between attention to grammar and a deep understanding of literary texts. I believe it's essential to develop students not only technical skills, but also curiosity and critical awareness. I always start with the level and needs of the individual I'm teaching, striving to create a personalized, effective, and stimulating learning experience. I consider the ability to build strong empathy with the student to be my greatest strength, a skill I developed while teaching children to ski. During my winter vacations, I work as a ski instructor: the job requires meticulous attention and the ability to adapt to the other's needs. What I learn on the slopes is a valuable lesson that I also keep in mind when working with Latin textbooks and school textbooks.
