About Daniel
I'm a student at the University of Edinburgh reading English Literature and History. I also write essays, articles, and fiction in my spare time, and work as a book reviewer and editor for online magazines. I'm very much into my books, politics, history, philosophy, and spend time studying these things in my spare time as well as at university.
All the subjects I offer are ones I have direct academic experience in, one way or another, as well as ones I do a lot of reading and thinking about independently. I am particularly well-versed in early modern-modern history and literature, including the 19th and 20th centuries in Britain, which tallies well with the school curricula.
On a lighter note, I enjoy movies, TV, and meeting up with friends.

I like to meet the student on an equal level; I have knowledge and skill myself, but I don't talk down to people. I prefer to listen and converse with a student, learning as much as teaching. I suppose this might be called a Socratic method. Questions, discussion, clarification, engagement. I'm also pretty friendly!
