About Gabriel

I started training in Martial Arts when I was eleven and began teaching when I was seventeen. During that time, I trained in a wide range of martial arts. I won't go into detail about all of them, but most importantly, if you are interested in training with me, I have been teaching Jeet Kune Do (Bruce Lee's concept) for almost two decades. Under the umbrella of JKD concepts, I trained in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, Kali, Wing Chun, Chin Na, Aikido, and BJJ. I taught all of these arts under the JKD umbrella. In 2008, I began traveling to Spain to train in Keysi Fighting Method (KFM). I gained a black belt in that system and became the KFM Australian Ambassador for the next two years. When that company split up, I continued training under Andy Norman in Defense Lab. These days, I teach a blend of everything I have learned. My focus is on real situations and practical self-defense. I am a lifelong martial artist with 32 years of teaching experience. I have extensive knowledge of the martial arts, with a focus on real-world self-defence. No belts or gradings. Just honest, no-BS martial arts for scary situations. All ranges of fighting, striking and grappling. Weapons use -stick, knife and environmental weapons.
