Book guitar lessons with expert teachers

Starting guitarists need to master several foundational concepts before moving to advanced material.

• Guitar components: Identify the soundhole along with the frets to understand the guitar's structure.
• String identification: The six strings are tuned to E-A-D-G-B-E from lowest to highest.
• Fretting technique: Keep thumb placement on the back of the neck while fingers arch over strings.
• Basic strumming: Hold the pick between your index finger and strum from top to bottom with fluid arm movement.

Master these essentials first to avoid bad habits that slow progress later.
