About Nicholas
I’m Nicholas, a historian with over 20 years of teaching at major colleges and universities. I have taught world and American history, the ancient and medieval worlds, modern European and American identity, Byzantine and Orthodox history, environmental and intellectual history, and the history of religion and social crises. I have also guided students through directed research projects, comparative studies, and senior thesis work.
In today’s AI-saturated world, real analytical, research, and writing skills matter more than ever, and I am committed to helping students develop the intellectual discipline and historical insight that allow them to use AI wisely rather than depend on it.
