About Maria Sascha
I come from a family of artists, the eldest of four siblings in the professional ballet world. Born on the porch of a log cabin in rural Montana, USA, I began my path to becoming a professional ballet dancer when, age ten, was discovered by a former Bolshoi Ballet dancer.
I have been fortunate to work with the best coaches in the world, and trained under Luidmila Morkovina, at the Kirov Academy of Ballet, and under the personal mentorship of Marika Besobrasova (coach to Rudolph Nuryev & Margot Fonteyn) at the Académie de Danse Classique de Princesse Grace, Monte Carlo, including summers at The Royal Ballet School, San Francisco Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre on scholarship.
Graduating with honours from the Académie, I was invited by Vladimir Malakhov to join the Staatsballett Berlin, (at the time named one of the top five companies in the world). Dancing a wide range of classical and contemporary repertoire including ballet’s by Neumeier, Forsythe, Kylian, Macmillan, Cranko, Balanchine, Petipa, Cunningham, Prejlocaj and more - I continued her career with the Bayerisches Staatsballett in Munich, the English National Ballet of London and as Principal dancer of the Ekaterinburg State Ballet. I have a Masters Degree in Arts & Cultural Enterprise.
I have coached and mentored students all over the world both beginner & professional. This includes helping improve technique or whatever your goal may be, and/or specific coaching for upcoming competitions and exams. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals!

From the stages of the world right into the comfort of your own home. I welcome all ages and levels from beginner to advanced. With 20+ years in the professional ballet industry as a Principal Dancer(touring performing and living around the world - within all different cultures), and 10+ years of teaching I am able to meet you where you are at and bring you up to the next level. I am passionate about sharing my wealth of knowledge and experience from life as an international ballerina in order to inspire others through the beauty of the Arts. Drawing on a lifetime of experience, my approach marries classical ballet-based movements, stretching, and breathing techniques, which all give students keys to unlock their true potential in and out of the classroom. Throughout the class you will learn tips and techniques to train like a professional all while, lengthening, toning, and stretching the body as well as personal insight and stories from my life as an international ballerina. Helping you to adapt these same skills to bring beauty, confidence, and inspiration into your everyday life! My technique is based in the Vagonova technique.
