About Faiza
I am a dedicated and approachable teacher with a passion for helping young people succeed and grow in confidence. I enjoy making learning engaging and accessible, and I take pride in building positive relationships with my students.
I decided to pursue teaching because I believe every student deserves the support and encouragement to reach their full potential. I understand that all learners are different, and I am patient and supportive in helping students overcome challenges.
My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make progress and achieve their best.

I use a structured and supportive teaching approach, adapting lessons to suit each student’s ability and learning style. My lessons focus on building understanding step by step, using clear explanations, modelling and targeted questioning to develop confidence.
I incorporate exam practice, retrieval techniques and real-world examples to help students retain knowledge and apply it effectively. I also provide support with revision strategies, homework and exam preparation.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, but can be adjusted where needed. I have experience teaching Geography, History, RE and PSHE across KS3 and KS4, including working with SEND and EAL learners.
My lessons are suitable for students aged 11–16, particularly those preparing for GCSEs or needing additional support to build confidence and improve their progress.
