About Luke
Hello! My name is Luke, no Sirs please and thank you! I have been teaching for about 10 years, everything from sword fighting and gymnastics to Latin and maths. It is my goal to help you through whatever it is you need and I will treat you with as much respect as you afford me. More importantly I want to offer you the skills and understanding you need to approach any learning opportunities in your life, trust me learning doesn't stop when you leave school! In fact it often increases! So let's get curious together!

I aim to make my lessons enjoyable and motivational. Learning is a life skill after all! Mostly I want students to see the value in the subject, especially if it is their least favourite. There is no teaching anyone who doesn't want to learn so let's work together and figure out a way to love, or at least tolerate, every subject. Over the last 10 years teaching in various schools and environments I find the last thing most students need is more people shouting at them. My lessons are usually an hour, with some space to run over or take breaks. Longer sessions are available on request.
