As a passionate high school student with a 4.3 GPA, debate awards, and experience running my own business, I bring energy, patience, and real-world knowledge to every tutoring session. I specialize in helping elementary and middle school students strengthen their skills in English, writing, reading comprehension, public speaking, and general academic confidence.

My teaching style is supportive, flexible, and focused on making learning feel enjoyable and empowering. I adapt each session to the student’s pace and personality, using a mix of clear explanations, relatable examples, and interactive strategies. Whether it’s helping a fifth grader organize their thoughts for a paragraph or showing a middle schooler how to analyze a story, I make sure every lesson is easy to follow and encouraging. I often use simple visuals, fun challenges, and step-by-step coaching to help students fully understand new material.

A typical session begins with a short warm-up to activate the student’s thinking and ease them into the lesson. From there, we explore a new concept together—like how to plan an essay or break down a reading passage—and practice it using examples. After some guided work, I give the student a chance to try it on their own while offering support and feedback. We always end with a quick review and tips they can take with them to their next class or assignment.

What sets me apart is that I’m close in age to my students, so I understand how they think and how school feels right now. My background in debate and university-level academic research helps me teach students how to think critically, not just memorize answers. I also know how to explain tough ideas in a way that actually makes sense to younger learners. On top of that, I’ve managed my own dessert business since age 14, which has given me a strong sense of organization, communication, and leadership—skills I bring into my tutoring sessions.

My lessons are best for students in grades 3 through 8 who want to improve their writing, reading, speaking, or study habits. I especially love working with kids who need a confidence boost, want to stay ahead in school, or simply need a little extra support to do their best. Every session is tailored to their goals, and I always make sure they walk away feeling capable and proud of their progress.
