About Jef
I am a philosophy student with a minor in political and social sciences. I read about a hundred books every year on all kinds of subjects such as history, politics, sociology, philosophy, literature and more. I would like to share my knowledge with others, so I can teach others something, but in the meantime I can immerse myself in the subjects. I myself am continuously learning, so I take a practical German course to also master German. I myself was not a very good high school student, but have now found the techniques to preserve information.

The best way to learn is in conversation. By applying ideas and concepts (for example in the cultural sciences) things get stuck in the head better. Also with languages it is especially important to use the language, otherwise you will not get there. That is why I opt for a free but structured method. We first look at what the objectives are and then try to write a plan. Learning is mainly daily work, sometimes only half an hour. That's why preparation is half the battle. The other job is doing it. I will help and lead with that. When there are things that are not understood, we can look for the answer together. When someone simply gives the answer, this is reproduction but it is through internalizing the learning material that one obtains knowledge.
