About Mitchell
Hello! My name is Mitch and I am a student at Pacific University Oregon - a top private research institute in the Pacific Northwest. I am double majoring in History and Political Science and minoring in German. My GPA is a 3.5 cumulative. Alongside being a fulltime student, I play football, work 12 hours a week, and am the treasurer of the German club. I like being active in my community and believe that there is a huge carryover from the skills learned in my extracurriculars onto my academics. Though I am a fairly new professional tutor, I do have experience volunteer tutoring and helping classmates. Helping student's with writing or the humanities subjects more generally is my specialty, though I am quite flexible and a quick learner/teacher.

I am more familiar with working 1 on 1 though I am flexible to work with whatever a student(s) needs are. A one-word description of my style would be personal. Each student has individual needs and skills that either need to be helped or honed. I have worked with many different age groups, from young kids to fellow undergraduates. Although my style and approach will change with the age group, I will consistently be a kind and friendly guide.

I typically ask for $15 an hour over webcam, though I will negotiate. Elementary lessons are less expensive than university lessons. Please be courteous with your cancellation. I do understand people are busy and life happens, so as long as I have a 2-hour notice, your money will be refunded.
