About Eva
I always struggled with the teaching format in school. I hated just sitting there and listening to a teacher ramble on about something that I did not particularly care about whilst I was wondering what I was going to have for tea. I often was teaching myself the material I needed to pass my exams. This is why I want to be a tutor. I think every student has so much potential and I would like to help them achieve their goals.

As someone with extensive experience tutoring teenagers, I despise the lecture format, so I like to take an interactive approach, having myself and the student working together to craft an interactive system that works for them. My approach consists mostly of activities to develop fluency in exam writing, as well as diving deep into the material, dissecting it in detail to understand meaning. My sessions are typically 30 mins to an hour, but this is flexible dependant on the student's needs, and are available to students at any level in secondary school up to the final year of A-Levels.
