I am an English Language and Literature graduate, and I am particularly passionate about literature and poetry from all ages, and from various countries. I am keen to share that passion with those students who aspire to work in the creative industries, as writers and journalists, or simply lovers of the English language and its rich and varied literature.

I prefer the Socratic method of learning, where language and literature is questioned and debated. It is through discussion that ideas and thoughts emerge. These thoughts and ideas are then finally distilled in to concise and articulated writing that better introduces ideas, puts forward engaging and convincing arguments and hypotheses, and demonstrates an advanced understanding of the language used and the subject matter of the piece.
