About Morgan
I hold a First Class honours degree in History from the University of Cambridge. I am from Oxford but currently live in London. I've been giving lessons for the past three years, mostly in the form of mock Oxbridge interviews and essay workshops. Through my work with the European Youth Parliament, I’ve adjudicated school debating teams at regional, national and international competition finals and given one-on-one written and verbal feedback. I have also taught group seminars on European politics and British history, and lead debating workshops. I have spent a summer working as an au pair in France, tutoring an 8-year-old and 10-year-old in English.
At school, I studied history, politics and French for my A-levels, along with an AS-level in English literature and an Extended Project Qualification on Louis XVI's role in the French Revolution. I was captain of my school's debating team and chaired the politics society. I enjoyed drama and playing cricket.

I provide lessons from primary school age up to A-Level/international baccalaureate in the following subjects: History, English literature, English language, Politics, Essay-writing skills, Research skills, Mock university admissions interviews, Debate and public speaking skills.
My approach to teaching is to equip the student with the tools which will allow them to reach their full potential, with a strong focus on essay and exam technique. More often than not, students themselves are best placed to understand their own weaknesses and I am sensitive to different students' priorities as learners. At the end of the day, learning should be fun and I aim to enthuse my students and push them intellectually.
