The keyboard contains 12 fundamental notes repeated in different octaves.

The 12 notes consist of C, C-sharp, D, D-sharp, E, F, F-sharp, G, G-sharp, A, A-sharp, and B.

• Sharp notes have alternative flat names. The note between C and D can be called either C♯ or D♭.
• Each octave spans 7 natural notes plus 5 accidentals.
• Each repetition places the notes in progressively higher or lower registers.

This 12-note foundation unlocks all scales, chords, and melodies.
